Introductory Macroinvertebrate Training Workshops
Sampling macroinvertebrates is a great way to measure stream health. Our intro training workshops will teach you the ins and outs of stream monitoring and how to identify these clever little bugs. Our sampling seasons are March 15th – May 15th and September 15th – November 15th. During each season we take 50 stream samples, and we need your help. Attend an introductory workshop to learn everything you need to know to join us in the field.

Family Level Macroinvertebrate ID & Advanced Training Workshops
These workshops are open to volunteers who have already attended an Intro Macroinvertebrate Workshop and want to learn how to ID bugs to the family level. Attendees will receive a copy of our family level key.
