JD Brown
James D. (JD) Brown is a practicing Charlottesville attorney. JD has an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and a law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. Over the course of his legal career, JD has focused on public interest environmental law with a particular focus on local land use issues. Prior to moving to Charlottesville, JD lived in Portland, Oregon, where he worked with the Crag Law Center and helped to develop the Coastal Law Project, which provides pro bono assistance to coastal communities working towards sustainable growth. JD loves nothing more than getting out on the trails with his family to explore the wonders of nature.
