Ammy George
Ammy George joined the RCS Board of Directors in 2013. She holds a Master of Public Policy, and a Master of Arts Environmental Science. She also holds a Bachelor of Science Landscape Architecture West Virginia University. Ammy was an Associate Editor and then Senior Editor of Virginia Policy Review, is a Golden Key National Honor Society and is a member of Sigma Lambda Alpha National Honor Society in Landscape Architecture.
Ammy has worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Timmons Group, The Engineering Groupe and Bower and Associates. She is a Certified Landscape Architect with the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulations and has her LEED Accreditation (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) with the United States Green Building Council.
