Steve Pullinger
Steve has been an RCS Board member since 2011, and did his first stint on the Board from 2001/2004. Steve also serves as chair of the Friends of Scheier. Steve teaches Primitive Survival skills annually at Scheier in the hope that it will spark an environmental interest and ethic in the younger generation. Steve enjoys gardening, beekeeping, kayaking and biking ( Trek and Honda ). Steve is a Fluvanna native who grew up on the Rivanna. He retired from VDOT in 2003 with 31 years of service and is the owner of a successful landscaping business. He is also an EMT and current/life member with the Lake Monticello Rescue Squad. Most weekends Steve and wife Deborah can be found on the river or the bikes.
