(Board member since 2001, serving as Vice President 2006-2007) Tim holds a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Environmental Studies from Hobart College. He is employed by The Nature Conservancy as a Land Stewardship Assistant and has also worked with the Virginia Museum of Natural History, the Wintergreen Nature Foundation, the North Caroling Outward Bound School and the Wildlife Center of Virginia. Tim employs his background in science to help develop natural history programs for children, to teach wilderness skills, and to develop and present wildlife programs to all age groups. He is a certified Emergency Medical Technician and a Wilderness First Responder. Tim is married and he and his wife Wanda travel extensively throughout the world and have volunteered for conservation and wildlife preservation programs in Belize, Costa Rica, Australia, Russia and the South Pacific.
