Join us to help protect clean water! RCA has partnered with the City of Charlottesville to reforest two acres of riverfront land with native hardwood trees and shrubs. We will be working along a very popular stretch of the Rivanna Trail to plant species that will filter pollutants, provide habitat, and prevent erosion.
All training will be provided on site, and RCA will provide all tools necessary for planting. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and anything they are comfortable getting dirty. Long pants are recommended. Please also plan to bring any water and snacks you need for the day.
